April in an eggshell ;P

Coolest craft ive ever done! We hollowed out real eggs and painted them on Easter! Between the acrylic paint glitter and PUFFY PAINT i was on a craft high! Look how cute our eggs turned out! I missed seeing any family this year because of work. Love you guys! Josh's sisters painted with us it was great fun! I cant wait to make more next year!

As for the rest of the month... I am so sick of the snow and freezing rain! I hope May jumps right into summer! We owe tax money this year (boo, hiss!). But in fun news my best friend Lauren has moved into our second bedroom! Unfortunate cicumstances got her here but we love her and are so excited to share our home with her! (she made the awesome yellow puffy polka dot egg ;D)

In May we are road tripping to St Geezy to see my baby sis graduate high school! (i cant belive she is so grown! I am a PROUD big sister :D) We cant wait for a weekend away! I am taking Josh to FINALLY meet my grandparents and i hope to meet my cousin Mandy while we are in Cali! I can almost smell the beach now! *happy dance* 16 days and counting...

Catching up!

WELL! I have been a blog slacker, mostly due to the lack of home internet. So i will just quickly catch up on the past six months. We moved! And we had to tear our Christmas tree down and start packing immediately after christmas! Josh did a lot of the packing while i was working nights. Josh also had to call the apartment manager 3times every day and harrass her to let us into the new apartment. It was so worth it we LOVE our new apartment! It is brand new and beautiful! We moved the first week in January and had lots of help from Josh's family and his best friend Seth.
Our first Christmas Tree!
From Santa! Josh got an electric razor and i got pictures to decorate above our bed!
Pajama dancin in the old house

Josh frustrated with packing
Here are the pics of the new house. I took pics before we moved all of our stuff in because i KNEW it would take us a while to unpack and make the house look livable haha. Thanks goodness for the second bedroom, where we shoved all of our unpacked boxes and called it Narnia for at least a month!
We are in the red brick on the right.
LAUNDRY ROOM!

My Picture frame headboard from santa!.
Beautiful kitchen!

Josh killing a spider. YUCK!
Katie and my Superbowl signs!

Go Steelers!
And then there was Valentines day! I tricked Josh. Got the day off work and told him i had to close. I traded cars with my sister for the night and parked her car on the other side of the street. I knew he wouldn't notice it! I put rose petals on the stairs, lit some candles and left some Sinatra playing. When he came home i hid in the pantry inside the kitchen. When he called me on his way home i told him dinner was in the oven(which it was not because i hadn't even started it yet) and to check on it first thing when he got home(so i could jump out of the pantry). I am trying so hard not to giggle as he walks up the stairs i knock over the broom in the pantry, which hits the vacuum and takes out half a shelf of pasta boxes! I was so sure i gave myself away! No he doesn't even think twice about it and starts to clean the front room so his friend Seth can come over(also part of my scheme). TEN FRIGGEN MINUTES LATER as i am dying of anticipation Josh walks into the kitchen and i jump out of the pantry like a ninja and scare the bejesus out of him. Poor guy will probably die of cardiac arrest one of these times. I AM THE VALENTINE NINJA.
Best part. Marshmellow frosting. Found the recipe in a magazine in a waiting room the day before. Pure amazeballs. We put it on cupcakes and took them to all the geighbors!

Best thing so far. Mary (my sister) and her family have moved to Utah to raise their family after her husband has left the Marines. Such a blessing to have then here. I cannot express how much it means to me to have a sister close again. My heart is so full. And Trayton my nephew/sidekick is back! I could not be happier. Plus Josh loves to play with the kids as much as i do! Here he is climbing through the Mcdonalds Playplace with Hailynn. it was so freakin cute! Yeah he is a keeper!
Josh started his second job this week. He will be delivering pizzas until we get caught up on bills and credit cards. He is really excited to get started! This opens a new chapter for us. I am not looking forward to spending even less time with my husband. I am so grateful that my great friend Lauren lives just down the street and comes to hang out. when i need company! Until next time!
